Ruthy,

These on line DB's can serve a purpose for each of us who participate.  I have learned much from them, but for me, it was the ability to sound out my inner most thoughts without fear of reprisal that allowed me to come to a place of peace.

There are so many variations that can be discerned with words, translations of those words, historic context of those words, opinions of the historic context of those words, opinions of the translations of those words...etc etc etc.  I feel that most often than not, the spirit of the words is missed, lost in the argument of the pursued 'true' meaning of them.

Of course, along the way we have all observed unChristian-like behavior.  I find them bad association, and do not invite them into my home.

It's up to each one of us to find our the balance in our own lives in the search for truth.

May Jah bless you as you embark on the next leg of your spiritual journey.

Ruthy,

I have deep respect for your views and I too thank you for your quality posts, and I understand what you are saying here especially about following a man or group of men.
Each one of us have a unique and individual relationship with our God and his Son - no person can take that away from us.

Go well Ruthy, with love and peace each step of your continuing journey.

Ruthy,

I hope to see you back here someday. You have made many, MANY wonderful posts that even inspired me.

To get involved in mudslinging can be draining, but you posts, in general, have done much help for many and there may be more that don't post, just lurk. Jehovah blesses those that give. You have given very well on this board along with the other boards you've posted on.

I have thank you for the support that you been there for me. Pick up your sword and suit of armour to be the best in Jehovah's army.

Hope to "see" you soon, someday. May Jehovah be with you.
