"H rewarded some, the faithful to heavenly life,"  in 70CE. This is an groundless assumption on your part.  There is no evidence at all that the anointed were ressurrected in 70CE.  In fact, scripture says that they are resurrected to serve as Kings and Priests with Christ in heaven, and that they are to rule over the earth for 1000 years in hte heavenly Kingdom.  If they were resurrected in 70CE, that would make a mockery of what the bible says is the reason why the go to heaven.  Your theory is asking one to believe that they have been sitting in heaven for 2,000 years and done really nothing to exert their rulership over the earth.  The indications are that that when resurrected to heaven, the Kingdom then becomes effective, and they go into almost immediate action to remove the rulerships on earth and to commence the millennial reign of the Kingdom of which they are an intrinsic part.

Dina >>> No Jehovah's Witness believes that any "anoinnted" went to heaven in 70 A.D..  They believe all the dead "anoinnted" went to heaven in 1914 and anyone anoinnted after 1914 when they die immediately goes to heaven.  So I don't think that is what Corvus was saying.

There is no value in hiding what is wrong behind what is right because as soon as someone finds out where the wrong is hiding then, at some point the tables will likely turn: what is right will be hid behind what is wrong and a person's faith in what is right will fade or vanish altogether~Stafford

Greetings:

Luke 19:15, talks about Jesus securing his Kingly power and verse 27 talks about Jesus destroying his enemies.

So if Jesus came back in 70 CE after securing his Kingly power to destroy those who did not want him to become King….who would be around to record this return of his?  No one.   Shocked

Which makes what Dina said about this happening during those disciples lifetime very possible. Undecided

Just a thought,
Mary

Greetings Mary.  I found your thoughts concerning Luke 19:27 interesting --- do you think, then, that this is indictive to the problems that arose in Christianity after the 'disappearance' of the apostles?  Maybe, if Jesus did come at 70 c.e. and took all his faithful with him --- then there was no faithful around to keep everyone on the right path (so to speak), thus all the problems with apostasy entering into Christianity?  Please let me know more about this.  Thank you. {@}

If this is so Pete... why did Apostle John write some 25-30 years later in the Revelation, "even so, come Lord Jesus"?

Hi Dina,  Question. Luke21:24...And they will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled on by the nations, until the apponted times of the nations are fullfilled. How has this been fullfilled? Remember, I'm a simple tool :U   Love,  Linda
